Love the Sony a7ii

Great camera if you don't have a $1k extra for A73

But the 50mm is great and inexpensive. Camera takes great images and ibis is a life saver. That's why I went with my xh1 now.

6 years later. Still great

Amazes me that this camera has been around over 5 years already. Didn't have to buy any lenses yet. Kit lens and the 30mm sigma and 50mm Sony I have have been enough to hit the ground running with. Great camera!

You can pay $3-5k for the equivalent CaNikon body, or you can pay half as much, for better performance per DxO.

Good camera, bettery could be better

The biggest downer is that the battery life sucks, especially if you need to record for a good chunk of time or even take your camera out all day to take pictures.
