If the unit was purchased new and the retailer cannot offer a replacement, please contact our customer support team so we can provide you with one, a proof of purchase will be requested.     Brought this camera and watched some reviews of it. Not something i wanted. The only reason I would buy sony mirrorless is the video capabilities. This was returned the next day for something better.

    Focus is a bit iffy, but then my comparison was with a A7.iii.

    The camera was ok, there are better cameras for cheaper. Someone with more experience may have better luck.

    Great entry level mirrorless

    Got this to explore the Sony mirrorless bodies, ended up trading up to an a7 iii. The a7 ii is a little long in the tooth at this point, but still makes a fine entry level body for long time enthusiasts curious about the new thing.

    Nightmare, cannot connect to wifi. Checked every forum online for a fix. Tried everything possible. Cannot connect to wifi, the app, remote app does not function. Every forum that has same issues says they needed to send in for repairs to have mother board replaced?? It’s a BRAND NEW $1000 camera! Come on Sony, what a disappointment. Do not recommend at ALL. Will he returning

    I understand items sometimes come out defective. I bought the camera but the screen was unable to focus and was flickering from time to time. I tried to exchange it or return it but this young representative kept stating there was nothing wrong the camera. At the end I was forced to pay a re stocking fee of $243 on a defective item. I recommend buying insurance.

    Sony A7 mk2 - technological marvel

    Initially purchased a Nikon D750 from Best Buy and loved this camera. Unfortunately in video mode with continuous auto focus turned on, noise from the auto focus motors was picked up on the audio track by the internal mic. As a result I subsequently returned it and purchased the Sony A7 mk2 instead. I am much happier with this purchase and found the A7 mk2 to be technologically way ahead of the 750. Some of the features I like: -Electronic view finder. All menus and selections visible on the LCD are also visible in the viewfinder, including all live view changes. -Smaller and lighter than any DSLR - means I can now carry a smaller lighter camera bag. - 5 axis stabilization !! Absolutely amazing. -Focus peaking – during manual focus, camera can highlight parts of the image that are within the focused depth of field which proves for highly accurate focusing. -Completely silent continuous autofocus during video recording. -NFC for quick transfer of images to my cell phone. -WiFi tethering for quick upload of images to my computer. -Articulating LCD screen for multiple viewing angles. -Not only does it have face tracking but also face registration where you can teach the camera to recognize up to 8 faces. It will then auto focus on those faces using the priority you specify.

    Not focusing so ended up returning it. Great camera for pros but not for beginners
