I bought this system to use in my shop. I photograph original artwork for printing giclees. This camera is so very solid and takes perfect images for my needs. It's is a little on the slow side, but that doesn't affect me or my process. I shoot on a tripod with long exposure and a remote.

Incredible camera with a great lens selection. I've used many DSLR and APC format cams and this thing feels rock-solid in your hands with a nice grip. Battery life is not as bad as some have said, and this comes with two. Get a large capacity SD card because it will fill up quickly!

This was a great price on sale. Great shots. Never overheats.

Purchased this camera as soon as the A7RIII came out and the price dropped. I didn't feel I needed the RIII for the type of work I do. The 42mp sensor is more than enough mp needed. I am a cropper so it helps alot. Dynamic range in this camera is superb, bringing back shadows with ease. Highly recommend this camera for landscapes.

I love the quality of this camera can output. One of the best camera out there. After a month I had a chance to take it on several trips, some photoshoots and commerical photo and video shoot. I have to say it is very worth it for the price. Check out the pictures.

Switch over from Nikon to Sony. Wow what nice upgrade if I do say so myself. Lighter, more features that MATTER to me. But what impressed me the most,was the staff at the San Rafael Ca store did everything needed to make this happen. Very impressed with the Sales folks. This is by far my favorite camera. I bought this camera after being fed up with lugging around my heavy Canon 5D Mark II, and wanted a more impressive camera. This camera surpassed my expectations, the whopping 42 megapixels are amazing. This camera has definitely upped the bar in the photography world.

I was lucky enough to be able to upgrade from an A7R and I absolutely love my A7R2, for creating compelling photos and videos. I switched to Sony (from Canon) because of Sony's color science, and my A7R2 produces wonderful colors--again, both in photos and videos (I make videos professionally). I almost couldn't be happier with my A7R2.

I had a Nokia Camera before and the picture quality wasn't that great. I wanted to get into Photography and Video Editing so I just wanted to get the latest and greatest out there. I've done a lot of research on this camera and the picture quality is amazing!! I love the 4k quality when recording videos. This is an AMAZING Camera!!!!

The A7RII may have been around a while, but it's performance is top notch. May not have the bells and whistles of a recent Sony model, but it still takes a great picture in outstanding clarity. A bargain at its current price. There was a reason it was an award winner!

Sony eye auto focus is very handy. 42 megapixels OMG!

Sony did it again with the A7R2. An amazing canera that will wow you. Portraits with this thing are amazing. Every detail is beautifully captured with this camera.

The camera is great, but there is a learning curve that you need to get through if your a novice like me. There are buttons on the camera that is programmable but since I'm a novice, I have no idea how to program them. Wish they had a better owners manual then the basic.

This camera is really good for those photographers who want an amazing ability to crop their shots with great detail remaining. It also enables you to make very very large prints. If you don't need to print so large (think HUGE)...then the "r" series of A7 cameras is really overkill for most photogs.

I have been a photographer for years and currently own two Canon 6d's but went for the plunge on this Sony for the 4K video and 42 megapixel. There is so much I can say about this camera but will say you will not be disappointed in it performance!

I just got into photography about a little over 1 yr ago and I was recommended a6000 as a starter camera which was a great suggestion but as I started purchasing lenses my best ones were geared towards full frame so after reading about the A7RII and I tested like it and purchased it. Another great investment. Nice

If you love Sony, this one is a great camera for you! It is small, yet takes amazing photos. The menu system takes a while to get used to, but you got this, you're smart ;) I just pop my 50mm lens on and it is such a great camera for travel and everyday use. Shoots great video in a pinch, as well.

I was an avid Canon user and was hesitant to switch to Sony. I bought an adapter to use my Canon L series lenses on the Sony and most of them work great! I like the Sony app better for downloading pics than the Canon app. This camera is great in low light.

Very, very strong camera, especially at the $1299 price that I got it for. I'm still mainly a Fuji shooter just because the colors/experience is far superior, but Sony's a7R range is fantastic.
