Great digital, no mirror camera with high iso when used with a decent lens!!

This is my third one and would not hesitate getting another.

So far my daughter loves the camera. She upgraded from the A6000

This body is really nice for making the transition to mirrorless. There are some kinks for me...perhaps getting used to a new brand or some general things. Its a great camera though.

Best upgrade from the A6000 to the Full-frame body.

I love everything about this camera and it had been working great for me the only thing is it just has a little slower shutter speed than the other cameras But perfect for scenery and real estate

I absolutely love the camera. Coming from Nikon D500 to this is a big leap and while the layout is different I am happy with the switch.

Amazing camera Sony is becoming the future of cameras

The reviews online seemed to hype up the product to be better than what it is. The camera is a good camera, but it could be better. Lenses are expensive as well.

Very easy to install, with full access to battery door (awesome!). The fit'n finish is nice, and the bottom of the camera body is well protected. The one issue i have is with the contour of the handle. As others have noted it is not snugged and so it does leave a small gap. It is more of a weird feeling than a deal breaker and considering what you get for the price I can live with that shortcoming.

Obviously this is a great camera, and we purchased this for a couple reasons. Here are my Pros and Cons after messing with the camera for a week. Pros 1. More compact than my Canon 5d Markii 2. Video quality is amazing (resolution/auto focus) 3. Wifi capabilities to transfer images straight to web, Ironic because with such a high quality camera all i've done so far is upload images to Facebook and instagram... 4. Quick and quiet shutter 5. In-camera filters 6. exposure compensation easily adjustable 7. zeiss lenses <3 Cons: 1. Battery. Be ready to purchase a couple of these because they drain very fast. Im assuming its because it uses both screens along with lots of other features. 2. I've tried to use the camera without the back screen on but you have to look through the view finder to go through menus which is not easy. Not sure why Sony didn't add a feature where you can just view the menu on the back screen and use the view finder as just a view finder. 3. metabones adapter for canon lenses is disappointing. I understand that communication between 2 different models can cause confusion and is limited, but it shouldn't effect sharpness. Im really disappointed that my 70-200 ii isn't as sharp as it is on the canon. Oh well, just means i need to save for more Sony lenses. 4. While I'm ranting about lenses, Sony doesn't offer a Zeiss Lens that is larger than 70mm 5. Was having difficulty recognizing raw file on photoshop CS6, but works with CC. So that means more purchases in order to edit raws. Overall, this camera was a great purchase for our family. Seems to be great for what we use it for. This camera delivers on the fact that it is convenient. As all cameras have their strengths and weaknesses I always say go with the one that feel best in your hands.

This is my dream camera. The lenses I have for it are terrific. Imagine my surprise when my wonderful new camera stopped recognizing my lenses... while I was on vacation. I think I got a lemon. I tried to call Best Buy but could not reach anyone. This is far too expensive an item for this kind of frustration.
