Great quality, but definitely need $2000+ G-master lenses to make the most of those 42 glorious megapixels. I went the cheap route at first and bought two lenses for $1600, thinking $800 should be expensive enough for a lens. It just wasn't as sharp as I thought a $2700 camera should be, so I returned both and got the $2200 Sony 24-70 f/2.8 G-Master and am waiting for Sony to release a new 16-35 f/2.8 G-Master so I can turn around and spend another $2000+. Worth every penny.

This camera takes breathtaking pictures. I am by no means a professional but bought this due to all the great reviews since I'd like to start learning more about photography so I figured I'd get the best on the market. Has so many options and settings - make sure to check out YouTube videos to learn more about them. Overall, couldn't ask for a better camera.

Absolutely amazing camera. Captures photos very fast in autofocus mode. Has all the functions that a dslr has but with better quality. Build quality is also amazing. Feels great and heavy, althougj the weight might deter some people. Pair this with a gmaster lens and you have yourself a professional camera for any setting.

Like many I read the reviews before I purchase and I can say that they were spot on. The battery might not be great but as a whole it is a good camera and I get wonderful shots from it. I am excited to see what happens next to the Sony series

I have been using this Sony A7Rii for almost a year now and I really love it. I primarily shoot concerts which are usually low lighting situations and this camera has been great. I also like that it is really easy to use.

I started out with an 80D than purchased the 5D mark IV! I stumbled upon reviews about the A7R II. This is by far my favorite camera! The fact I can practically use just about any lense out there with this camera opens up all the possibilities. Technology such as zebra and focus peaking makes life so much easier as a photographer. Best camera I've used!

This is my first full frame, coming from the a6000. The jump in overall detail is pretty nice. Paired it with an 85mm and a 50mm and I am very impressed. The body feels sturdy. The grip isn't very comfortable, but it was nothing a battery grip couldn't fix (found one for $45 on Amazon that is compatible). I would recommend this camera. I love it!

I am new to Sony and mirrorless cameras. I've always used Canon and love them. Just decided on a whim to try mirrorless and heard great things about them from my professional photography friends. Thus far I am pleased with this camera and it takes beautiful photos. Tack sharp. It is a little on the small side, so I will be purchasing a battery grip.

I had the A7II and upgraded to the A7RII biggest reason for my upgrade was the autofocus sensors the A7RII has 399 points on the sensor, that helps it work perfectly with the 30mm Sony macro lens, the A7II has only about 179 points or so, and with that lens you still basically need a Tripod or you will have blurred images.

Having literally owned every major brand of camera over my photographic career, I can safely say this is one of the best cameras I've ever owned. The only flaw is it may be too sharp - showing more flaws in my models faces.

If you're going to spend less than $3K on a camera and want to go mirrorless, I don't think it gets much better than this. Amazing for landscape photography.

This is truly an amazing camera. The Riii is more up to date but the new features do not help my style of photography. If your not doing weddings, fast action, or similar work the Rii works fine. This is used strictly for landscapes. Paired with the right lenses and the photos are extremely sharp. I purchased this as a second body to my other Rii.

This is my first mirrorless camera and it took me a few weeks to know if it would be a keeper. At first I wasn't completely sure about its features, pluses and capabilities but once I became confident with the Sony approach and distribution of dials and controls I did realize I was getting my images to look better. Once I started testing it on the streets and deployed continuous AF and or face detection I further enjoyed bringing my street life takes to higher and exciting level. Last time I tested the camera in the landscape field and once I got back home and transfered my images to my Mac I was so happy to witness a broader dynamic range compared to my other cameras. I can definitely say my money was definitely well invested in Sony system. Yes, it is expensive but what you get it is worth the price. The vertical grip is an awesome addition for comfort and extra battery.
