My fiancé and I recently bought this as she loves to take photos. The 42megapixel is insane and the up close clarity and detail of the photos it takes is awesome. She has several lenses for it now and the photos are epic. Not for beginners, she is intermediate skill with advanced cameras such as this... tons of settings and she bought a book on how to learn how to use it properly. Amazing camera.

The Sony A7RIII is a much improved update to the A7RII in my opinion. Having duel memory card slots and a longer lasting battery makes photo or video shoots easier. One of my favorite features is I can choose the video output when recording to an external recorder. The A7RII forced me to record only in 4K, but the A7RIII let's me choose between HD or 4K.

Super fast, all the AF points you could need, and incredibly simple to operate.

Gifted for my husband. He loves it. I’m not much a a camera person but really the quality for both video and photos is of high quality. My husband uses it mostly for professional videos. It’s always a plus that it’s not bulky.

I’ve had this camera for close to month now... from photos and video this camera does it all. I’ve shot in many changing situations from late at night.. to fast movement to long exposures.. etc. the battery life... I shot photos and videos for 5 hours and the battery was still at 45%. I was worried about the grip area because canon and Nikon feel much better but I was wrong it’s good. It was worth the investment.

I used to use the canon 5d mark 4 and to me this camera is an extreme upgrade. It’s really easy to use, if you choose the automatic mode it literally does everything for you but press the button. It is expensive but if photography is your hobby or job it makes everything more enjoyable and easy to use.

I enjoy the camera. Especially the ability to take photos at crop mode.

I have no issues with this mirrorless camera. My first camera I took with me for my trip to Washington, D.C. was a Sony Nex-6 and the exterior build quality of Sony's cameras is very useful and easy to use. The Sony Alpha A7R III takes vastly superior photos to my phone and as an intermediate user I think the interface could be easier but overall as a mirrorless digital camera I will use as my primary camera it is very good. Sony's original founder was always enamored with Hollywood and their exterior build quality as well as their digital sensors shows me as a consumer how far they loved to innovate and experiment with digital camera technology and the design of the photography products is very useful for an intermediate photographer.

Always has been a top notch camera from day one and it still is, though not at the top of the heap like on the day released. Steal at $1999! Still have the first one from five years ago, never any glitches with 60,000 shots.

Even though this camera is a few years old, it is still by far one of the greatest cameras ever made by Sony. The amount of features and overall quality of this product is amazing. Takes great pictures and great video as well. Pair it up with your favorite lens and you will not regret your purchase.

Amazing camera. Been renting it out this past year and couldn’t ask for a better camera. Only issue I had was when I first got to the camera. Was the camera section in store , it took about 10 min to have someone finally come over and get it for Me. Guess I’ll just have to consider curbside pickup.

I love this camera. I upgraded from the Sony a3000. I’m still learning all the features of this camera. There are so many options and features not available on the Sony a3000. I really like the full frame compared to APS-C. Pictures look great. Now I need to get some more full frame lenses.

I purchased this back in October and I have been amazed by it ever since. I learn new abilities, new specs, with every use. People love the quality of the pictures and I am able to do more and more. It is amazing! I can even have the pictures on my phone through the app. Friends are always asking to use it.
