Super nice camera and the quality is insane! It’s not to heavy

I originally purchased this for vlogging but I quickly realized that it is much more than that. Sure there are quirks to it that may not be suitable as a A can for professional use, but as a B or C cam it’s more than capable for sure. Would highly recommend for EVERYONE

I went from a cannon 90d to this and sheesh it’s amazing. I am primarily a video shooter (as this is a video focused camera keep in mind) but stills are still great. Auto focus is other worldly and adjustable. you can get slower natural focus breathing or lightning fast focus. Amazing lowlight in a shockingly small package. Overheating has not been an issue and if it pops up in the future I will buy an aftermarket little fan for the back. I paired it with a 16-35 G f4 to start •Low light •Quality and capability at this price point is unmatched •Great for both beginners and advanced users (for beginners there is actually a smart phone esc menu for easily adjusting most parameter’s) Go watch “Mark Bennett’s camera crisis” on youtube for an excellent breakdown of the camera.

I just recently got this camera and its amazing Switched from a Canon 90D to this + a Sony 20mm f1.8 lens (stupidly expensive) and its amazing. Auto focus on this camera is crazy, loving some of the default profiles as well. The on camera audio is decent enough but I'd recommend an additional mic. I did have an issue with the included Battery as it was completely dead and would not charge. Speaking of, there is no USB C or charger with this camera - that has got to be one of the dumbest things I've seen for a piece of tech. I did buy 2 extra batteries & chargers off amazon and got it the next day and was able to start using the camera. Highly recommend for youtube or video content creators. I dont plan on using this for photos. Just video & its amazing. I'm extremely happy with the purchase so far

I was nervous about getting this camera due to all of the complaints about overheating. Can it overheat? Sure. Is it totally manageable? 100%. I have been shooting with it 2-3 times a week for an hour or more per shoot and i have not even gotten a temperature warning. But even if you do, if you leave the viewfinder open and keep it well ventilated it is not an issue. But the features? They are all there. The autofocus is fast and quiet, the ai features are too smart, and the video quality is pro. 100% recommend.

This camera is by far the best I’ve ever used in the Sony line. I leveled up from the Sony zv1, and the difference is night in day. It has 4k 24fbs-60fbs which works amazingly. The only con is the camera is prone to over heating. I guess it’s the price to be at since it’s basically a super camera compact into a small frame. Also, this camera does not come for a lens! Make sure you purchase a lens alongside it.

This is a ridiculously good camera and a great compliment to the FX3/A7Siii it’s really a compact version of those two for half the price. While the camera does get warm, I haven’t had any issues with over heating, and I haven’t gotten the heat warning either. I think it’s stupid that Sony makes you download the “license” for 4K120 instead of installing it from the factory since that update came out in summer of 2023. If you’re between the FX30, Lumix S5ii/x, A7iv and this- get this unless you’re doing long runs in super hot weather or have photo needs. While this can take pictures in a pinch - it’s not setup very well for photography and is a video first by a mile camera! Only downsides so far, micro HDMI (boo), it does feel have that plastic feel, weather sealing is probably a light mist or drizzle at most, and the grip is on the small size (I wear a medium/large for gloves if that helps). While not horribly small, you do get hand fatigue, and without a grip extension your pinky is likely going to hang off the bottom.

The A7S iii sensor in an incredibly compact body! And addition AI auto focusing features. Took this camera to Japan to recreate a recap video. When I sent that video out to everyone the comments I received back asked me what camera I was filming on. The shots were all handheld but felt like gimbal shots. The clarity was so clear that you felt like you were transported into our travels. Amazing camera in a portable size.

This vlog-focused camera perfectly suits my needs. Perfect use for basic vlogging while having the features/specs to do more. It’s AI autofocus and Cinevlog feature made it a breeze to capture awesome looking videos. I don’t recommend this camera if you plan to do more than basic vlogging. Even though it offers features of higher end Sony cameras, extensive use would more than likely cause it to overheat. I would recommend to do extensive research before choosing this camera.

I upgraded from the A6700 to this full frame BEAST I do fishing content for YouTube and this camera video quality is awesome I record in 4k 30fps hasn’t over Heated once

Minus the over heating, this is an awesome camera. I am using cooler to mitigate the over heating and it's working so far. I cover weddings so I need it on longer.

This camera is able to record very high-quality video for up to 15 continuous minutes before overheating. I was able to use as a webcam for ~25 minutes before it overheated during a zoom meeting. The best value video camera for the price spent.
