It's a very good camera for live streaming and taking professional photos, but I returned it for practical reasons. My needs required something simpler like the GoPro. It's definitely an excellent camera. Recommended if you want something more professional.

This is hands down the best vlogging video - it's lightweight, compact, and video quality is great. I love that you can flip the screen to see yourself when doing self-vlogging. Easy to store in my camera bag, backpack, or purse and extremely light for carrying on my gimbal.

I am new into the photography/video realm soni dont have much to compare it to since its my first camera purchase. But Its a lot smaller than what i expected which is great. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. The lens it came with does great job but be prepared to spend a couple hundred dollars on a lens depending on what you need it for. Which is expected honestly. Overall its been great so far.

Wow. Genius Camera! Ok, so you've heard of Sony cameras by now? Want to film videos? This is the one. YouTube or vlogging? Yup. Still this one. Learn photography? You got it - still this. It's incredible at focusing, lightweight, and even the built in microphone gives the best quality I've ever heard from a camera mic, I've been tested it in a loud environment with people, cars and wind! Thought a lot about 6100/6400, got this, and no regrets. It doesn't occur to me that people think about the viewfinder... The screen works in the sun no problem.

It is the little camera that could! It can do great auto focus, changing speed of auto focus, tally light so you know you are recording, ok battery life. The built in mic is decent as well. I wish it used the larger sony batteries fz100 , as with all the newer full frame cameras, I wish it has more function buttons. Be sure to check ports when you first get it! My usb c was fine, headphone and mix ports were ok, but that micro hdmi.... Had my friend not tried to add an external monitor, I would not have known how unreliable this specific port on my unit was. I was there when he tried other micro hdmi cables too. His cables worked fine on his other sony camera. That being said, this unit is going back, but if your copy is fine, record and have fun! (I would still recommend this item if everything ok)

Great camera. This is my first camera purchase and I don't regret it. I have an idea of what look I'm aiming for and the stock lens can't accomplish that, but the it is still a good lens to begin learning with. Great battery life. Functionality is amazing, great beginner camera for intermediate users.

I recently bought this camera because I wanted to better the content quality on my YouTube channel and I have been pleased with it. There are some shortcomings of this camera but like any other camera, this is no different. Rolling Shutter and the build quality are the most annoying/con of this camera that you can't wrap your mind around. The rolling shutter as you might have seen on the youtube reviews of this camera is pretty bad and the build quality is very plastic-ish/cheap. But there are also some pros of this camera, like the incredible sensor of this camera that lets you record up to 4k 24 uncropped and 4k 30 cropped. The kit lens it comes with does no magic but with the right lens, this camera is incredible. I have the Sigma 18-50 mm lens which does magic on this little camera, video quality and photo quality sky rockets on this when you start using better lenses, no surprise there. This is perhaps the best entry point to the sony mirrorless camera system because of the flip screen and decent audio quality from the on board mic but more over on the lens collection of the e mounts and perhaps the best beginner/entry point camera for the e mount camera for content creators.

Overall great camera for vlogging and give a step up on your content creation route!, gotta check the option to temperature sensor, cause its too sentitive and might turn off in the middle of the recording, be aware that even that this is not suppose to be a long format recording camera and be outside all time...
