The ability to upgrade with 3rd party lenses is a huge plus. Recently replaced my broken ZV-1 with this camera and I feel it is a step above.

Made my money back on it 10x fold and learned most of my fundaments on it out and about. Super lowkey so noones asking me for my paperwork when entering big businesses. Probably going to get the zv-e10ii soon just because of how lowkey they are especially in the area I’m at.

The camera is very steady, clean shots and u can upgrade the lens down the line. Battery life lasted the entire 4 day trip with a need to charge. K also love the record button. So if u r in photo mode u can just press the record button and it will start recording.

Great for video. Photography is a question mark

I’m honestly still trying to master photography with it, but it doesn’t seem to measure up to some of its competitors in the photography space. Canon cameras seem to be the friendlier option for that.

I am still learning the functions and i wish i got the user Manual BUT the quality of pictures and videos is great and worth it. I would recommend getting a case or something for it.

Amazing video camera for the price

Since it is an interchangeable lens camera, you are able to adapt many different vintage lenses to E-Mount and use them to take some really professional looking photos and videos all for well under $1000. My biggest complaint is the rolling shutter which is definitely very noticeable when recording moving subjects

The best all-in-one

This is a great all in one with good audio and video quality. I highly recommend this for any content creator thinking of getting a good all-in-one.

I wanted an all-arounder at a decent price. I first came across the Sony ZV-1. I also used to briefly own an RX 100 VII. This was a great camera, but it was limited by recording limits and the lack of a solid aperture for low light with the 200mm zoom lens. Once I saw that this was out after coming across the ZV-1, it checked all of my boxes and more! For only $50 more than the ZV-1 with the kit lens, you just can't beat it. It's basically a video centric A6000 series camera for $799! Compared to the ZV-1, you have USB-C charging, interchangeable lenses, and of course the larger 24mp ASP-C sensor compared to the ZV-1s 1 inch sensor. However, while this is obviously STILL LIGHTER than full frames and even the other ASP-C sensor cameras, it may be cumbersome depending on the lenses you bring around. Because of this I ALSO own a ZV-1 because of how pocketable it is, with this camera being oriented to less on-the-go situations, weddings, family events, and tripod/studio filming.

I love it. I took it with me to a missionairy trip to DR. Its portable and compact and absolutely worth it.
