Not just for vlogging!!!

This is a wonderful and fantastic entry camera for photographers too! I understand and empathize with those who are starting photography and want to stay away from the “vlogging cameras” stigma. While great for beginners its also impressive for intermediate use and further on as well. For the price point youre getting high ISO (great low loght performance), and an incredible sensor in the camera, jpeg and RAW file format, and more, and more, AND MORE. fan-TASTIC camera!

Amazing grab and go camera

There’s no touch screen menu so I was struggling… Got better after downloading and connecting with the app on my phone. The focus is amazingly fast! Love the red record button and red frame around the screen so you can easily see you are recording at all times! My favorite features: Background defocus feature Product showcase feature Active steady shot Shoot in 4k and HD USB streaming Focus tracking You can live stream with it Interchangeable lens capability What I don’t like: No touch screen menu Overall is a amazing grab and go content creation camera. Vloging + Professional Camera in one.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Canon G7X Mark II, the Sony ZV-1, and the Sony ZV E10. Quality-wise, footage from the ZV1 and ZVE10 are very very similar. The main difference between the cameras is obviously the ability to change lenses. If you plan to swap out your lenses, this one is definitely a better buy, but it you pretty much plan to stick to one lens for vlogging, I’d recommend the ZV-1 so that you don’t have to deal with the slightly bigger size of this model and the lens cap, which can easily be lost. Both cameras have mic input, but the ZV E10’s existing internal mic is definitely better. The one feature both of these new Sony cameras are missing for vlogging is the ability to take a time lapse as a video file rather than a picture series which then has to be edited into a movie. The battery life is also pretty short, but that can easily be remedied with a few extra batteries. I wish this camera had a full touch screen and not just touch-to-focus, but overall it’s a great camera. The Bluetooth mount is a must if you purchase this- it’s so handy!
