Clear quality, lightweight, and I can change the lenses out. I have the kit lens and 11mm lens. Only thing I thought the screen would be touch screen but using the button work perfectly fine! Sound is good too, thinking about getting the Sony microphone and Sony tripod just to have the full package. I did buy the rechargeable battery and an extra battery to have because the camera only comes with battery and a wire to charge it. No separate outlet charger for the battery.

The Switch Up

Also the fact that you can pop out the screen makes getting angled shots a lot easier, and this overall camera is really good for beginner photographers or even videographers. Hopefully the picture of my dog gives you an idea of the quality I’m taking about!

Great for indoor & Outdoor Vlogging!

HIGHLY reccomend paring with a set of RODE wireless mics when outdoors however not needed as the mic quality indoors is quite solid when you're within 5-10 feet and have no wind to fight. The video quality is top notch ONCE you get your settings dialed. Does not come out of the box with the best settings to set you up for the greatest success however a 10 minute YouTube video will get you ready to crank out high quality content in no time. The stock lens that comes with the pack is a great starter but I will be looking to upgrade my lens soon. Outdoor quality can suffer slightly without the right lens combo. Other than that excited to start my camera ownership journey with Sony and this camera deifnitely packs a punch!

A very good size camera.

It’s marketed as a vlogging camera in which it does well, but if you have a reasonable amount of knowledge on cameras, this can be used for professional photography and video production! I’m still learning but this camera is great. If you are doing video I recommend getting a gimbal, but you can definitely get the job done without it!

I have now used it for over a year for sports photography, concerts and more. I have not had a problem with it and now even overheating. The one downside to this camera is that it is not weather sealed but I have not had any problem when out and about.
