If your gonna get a better zoom lens, get the body only and stick Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 on it. For video, no in body stabilization is easily fix with a gimbal.

Best bang for the buck

But let's be fair. It is less expensive because of that, and they fully disclose that fact so I think that cancels itself out. It's the only Sony apsc camera with a fully articulating screen so it's great for odd angle shots.
