Best bang for the buck Sony APS-C

I always stuck to editing RAW files but now I'm happier with the JPGs sent to my phone than my Iphone 13 pros pictures. Of course the RAW files are still there but how great is it to take some shots and just wifi transfer them to your phone and share with people. The wifi transfer is too slow I will say that. But if you can live without weather sealing, a viewfinder and aren't addicted to shortcut buttons then get this and skip the a6400 and a6600

So this is an APS-C camera but with the right lens, this has amazing video quality. 4k24/30 video recording looks very sharp. Bought this mainly for the product showcase mode and it's great for this. No more awkwardly putting your hand over your face to show the product you want to highlight. Old menu but has catalyst browse capability and the flip screen is also nice to have. USB C charging including using a power bank for extended use.

Pro level picture at a prosumer price

Once paid twice as much when I got the a6500 a few years ago and this one has the same exact sensor and a flip screen. I understand that the build quality isn’t quite as good (plastic as opposed to metal) but that’s not really the point here. If you’re looking for a more professional build quality then you’re going to want to go up and get a full frame A series camera anyways. This in my opinion is the best prosumer camera on the market.

I as recently tasked with a project for work in which I had to take thousands of photos within a 4 day time span…..I’ll just say this camera took a licking and kept on ticking….Most photos were taken back to back and the image quality was second to none!

Nice upgrade from Sony A5100

Unlike our previous camera (Sony A5100) , this one can record long videos without overheating. It also has a cover to protect the microphone from the wind. The body is made of plastic instead of metal. It would have been nice to have a sturdier body.
