That is the main reason I bought the radio. A major drawback is that you can't turn on the sleep timer with a single switch. You have to first turn on the radio, then set the time until the automatic shut off. If I'd realized that's how it worked, I probably wouldn't have bought it. The alarm buzz isn't loud enough to wake me, so I still have to set another alarm. Overall, it works, but doesn't quite meet my needs.
