Posted .Hello alarmclock, thank you for your comment. The brightness on the clock radio can be adjusted. You can adjust it to four different levels [high, medium, low or off] by pressing the SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS/ENTER button on the top of the clock radio. Another way to turn off the brightness of the screen is pressing and holding down the SNOOZE/BRIGHTNESS/ENTER button. -Kate
