Compact and does the job. - Easy to turn off the alarm in the dark -- the button that turns off the alarm can be identified by touch. - Easy to use and to learn how to use. Automatic setup for EST zone. - Battery backup for if the power goes out. - The screen is too bright at night, even on the dimmest setting, so it needs to be located in a strategic place.

The time projection feature is awesome as we no longer have to roll over to see what time it is as it is now projected on the ceiling.

The clock can be changed to appear the time on the ceiling as well as the wall, changing print from large to small. The radio sound is excellent.

Great clock but not so great alarm clock.

However, I have two issues: One is that the alarm is not loud enough. I have slept through it many times. The other thing is the alarm activation switch on the top of the clock is hard to find in the dark. It needs some kind of tab on it so you can feel it in the dark to slide it back and forth to turn the alarm on or off. I went back to using my old alarm clock because of the volume issue and only use it to tell the time.
