the black control buttons are difficult to distinguish on the black clock and there is no radio channel indicator; you must listen to the radio to tell what channel you're tuned to. Not bad for the price and has a nice, large, bright display.

My old clock radio stopped working after 10 years. This Sony radio set time automatically and is easy to opate. Clear reception from both AM/FM

This alarm clock is fantastic, it is tiny and loud! Also it is great since it has 2 programmable alarms!

Bought this for my dad. He loves the laser time display that shoots across the ceiling. He said he only likes one of the sound choices, but to each his own.

I needed to get a dedicated alarm clock. This is the coolest clock I have owned. The buttons are laid out well for operation in the dark. two distinct alarm buttons, plus snooze which is an easy-to-access large bar button at the top front. It will play various nature sounds. I think my favorite feature is the projector. This clock will "paint" the digital readout on a wall, ceiling, or whatever, which simplifies things in the middle of the dark. This is an awesome clock!

You're paying for the Sony name here, really. This alarm clock has decent enough features, and the size is pretty compact (so it won't take up a large footprint on a nightstand or wherever you keep your alarm clock). My biggest issues with it are the price ($29.99!), and the volume of the alarm sound - it does ramp up to get "louder" and there's also a slider to make it "louder" on the side, but I'm thinking a pile of sleeping kittens would make more noise to wake me up in the morning than this thing. I've also found that seems to have a slight "down" angle on the face of the clock, and since it sits so low, it always seems to take extra effort to look at the time. If you can find the alarm clocks at your local BB, maybe look at other examples before you settle on this one.
