Got this for my son because his alarm on his phone was not dependable...now with the 2 settings his cousin is getting up in time for school.

Nice little radio,, power went out and alarm still turned on with backup battery it has.

This was bought for the clock and the radio for a cabin. The atomic clock is great, the radio is really better than I thought it would be, and the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is that the sound is not high end. It is however, a great and perfect fit for our cabin, and listening to classic music as dusk settles over a winter, near wilderness setting, is sublime

The gradual wake alarm is a better way to wake up, instead of any annoying buzzing.

I like the size of the alarm clock. It's just the right size for me. Once you have adjusted the clock to your time zone. It stays there even if you turn it off because you have to go to work and when you return from work, I turn it on and the time zone still remains the same. No adjustment is necessary. What I don't like about it is the "buzzer". It's too quiet for me. Yes, the buzzer alarm gradually sounds a little bit louder as it progresses, but still it's not enough. You can hardly hear it even if it's near you. If I put it on a "buzz" I will never be able to wake up on time. It's not as loud as I wanted it to be. So it is always set on the radio. It's louder. However, the radio has that "bubbling sound". Anyway, it wakes me up so it's okay. It has a battery that goes with it and i still have to figure it out yet.

Good clock, good sound quality and doesn't take up much room on my nightstand. I couldn't ask for anything more.
