You're paying for the Sony name here, really. This alarm clock has decent enough features, and the size is pretty compact (so it won't take up a large footprint on a nightstand or wherever you keep your alarm clock). My biggest issues with it are the price ($29.99!), and the volume of the alarm sound - it does ramp up to get "louder" and there's also a slider to make it "louder" on the side, but I'm thinking a pile of sleeping kittens would make more noise to wake me up in the morning than this thing. I've also found that seems to have a slight "down" angle on the face of the clock, and since it sits so low, it always seems to take extra effort to look at the time. If you can find the alarm clocks at your local BB, maybe look at other examples before you settle on this one.

Perfect ... An excellent radio watch and having 2 wake-up options helps a lot when my kids wake up to go to school.

I replaced a very old alarm clock with this sony. I like the small size, and the larger numbers. Works as described. It's an alarm clock.

I like the size of the alarm clock. It's just the right size for me. Once you have adjusted the clock to your time zone. It stays there even if you turn it off because you have to go to work and when you return from work, I turn it on and the time zone still remains the same. No adjustment is necessary. What I don't like about it is the "buzzer". It's too quiet for me. Yes, the buzzer alarm gradually sounds a little bit louder as it progresses, but still it's not enough. You can hardly hear it even if it's near you. If I put it on a "buzz" I will never be able to wake up on time. It's not as loud as I wanted it to be. So it is always set on the radio. It's louder. However, the radio has that "bubbling sound". Anyway, it wakes me up so it's okay. It has a battery that goes with it and i still have to figure it out yet.

Great alarm clock. I don't have to ever worry about turning the the clock ahead or back again. Even a battery backup. A good product.

Dual alarms are nice and loud. The buttons on top could be larger and better labeled. Sound quality and reception are good for a radio this size. Overall this is a good value for a product-type (dual alarms, no IPod dock, a simple device with limited "features") that has limited choices.

Takes a minute to figure out all the buttons and dials but after that I was happy with all the options. The only drawback is you must turn on the projection option with each use. In my case nightly. I would prefer it to be automatic with the ability to turn it off when necessary.
