I did take one star off ONLY because it isn't easy (when you first start using it) to learn the in's and outs of setting the alarms, etc. Once you do it a few times it gets easier, but, it is a lot to learn since I don't set alarms often. However, most electronics by Sony really are the best!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall Good...the only item I would bring up is that the button you need to hit to turn the alarm off in the morning is the smallest button on the unit. Surely the engineer who designed it realized that the person is half asleep and in the dark and finding that small button is not so easy. Other than that failure on the part of the design engineer, it's a good product.
