This dual alarm clock radio does what it advertises. It is a low-tech but highly functional alarm. The clock is accurate and the alarm goes off just as requested. For the price, it is well worth it. To consider, however, is whether spending a few more dollars wouldn't be worth it. The buttons are almost all flush against the surface making it hard to discern which one you're pressing unless you're looking at it -- something that's difficult when you're wake-up time is before the sun rises. Also, the alarm is not particularly loud -- unless you're a very light sleeper, you have to use the radio function which has volume control. Finally, there's no way to confirm the time the alarm is set for without turning it off and then back on. Again, for the price it meets the needs -- but may not be the value that the low price would indicate.

This is a wonderful clock. The nature sounds are enjoyable, the display is attractive, and the alarm tone is just right. I thought I would be able to play my iPod through the clock, but it doesn't work that way. And it turns out I don't miss it! I am able to charge the iPod with the clock, which is very handy. The radio sounds good. I have recommended this clock already.

Easy to set up, doesn’t take up much room. I love that I can charge my phone and the alarm feature that starts to radio station music low and slowly get louder to wake me up rather than startling. Time illumination on the ceiling or wall was the selling point for me. This clock offers so many benefits!

Enjoy the projected time on the ceiling in the middle of the night. Not too bright. Easily adjusted to legible while lying on your back.

This dual alarm clock radio is compact which gives it a small foot print, which is good for a bed side table. It is easy to use, has a good sound and comes with clear directions. A bonus was the radio was on sale.

I like that this compact clock radio which fits on a small table. However, it took awhile to figure out the settings as there are many buttons. The radio sounds good and the time is easy to read.

Music sounds good and the time display is nice and bright in the middle of the night. Would recommend this to anyone!

This is a nice alarm clock. It's small, has a nice display, and the projection feature is wonderful. It is nice and clear but not distracting at night. The nature sounds are nice, although I don't really use them. I like that the clock sets itself and automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time. This clock is worth the slightly expensive price tag.

This is nice, easy to use, and well designed clock. I like the projector, it is very useful to have the time displayed on the wall...

This little clock radio takes up very little space and is easy to set.

I love being able to turn off the display and project the time on the celling. The sounds are more real then when they first came out.

The main reason I bought this clock over others is the ability to display time on walls or ceilings via the projector. The projector works well and is very easy to read in the middle of the night without creating annoying light pollution. My only gripe is that the projector turns itself off after 16 hrs...wish the user could select timed or always on.

Needed an alarm clock that would give me more space on my night table. The Sony Cube is perfect and a nice touch.

After 4 months: PROS: --Easy to set up in spite of being complex --Easy to set/change dual alarms, even in the dark --Radio tuner is precise and love the ability to program 5 presets --Time projector is amazing (though I no longer use it) in its ability to rotate and focus time projection anywhere on wall or ceiling --Easy-to-set snooze alarm in 10 min. increments up to one hour for the sleep deprived --Options to set alarms with different radio stations or sounds --Option to turn off music after 90 to 15 min. in 15 min. increments --3 dimmable LED light levels + can turn off LED altogether --Love the dual use + and - buttons to change alarm times and volume --Backup battery --Excellent set up directions even for the technically challenged; well organized and extremely clear; great illustrations --USB port to charge smartphone --Flexible wire antenna works well if set up high --Automatic DST adjustment CONS: --Nature sounds too artificial and on obvious loops --Time projection is too bright - not good for insomniacs! --Sound is not bad but not great; just OK Suggestions for future product iteration: --Add better speaker even if slightly larger (I am spoiled by my old Sony Dream Machine} --Maybe storage to upload and wake up to recorded music from USB Well-designed appliance that feels better than it needs to be. My last alarm clock was a Sony that I loved for 15 years until it failed; this one if it proves durable will retain my brand loyalty and may extend over to trying other Sony electronic products.

Meets all the needs with the features and benefits we were looking for...open your eyes and the time is displayed on the ceiling or wall. Not too bright to disrupt your sleep. The sleep sounds are great and always requested by my spouse. Bought 2 more for my boys.
