It does have large numbers and digital dial radio stations. However the lighted dial cannot be dimmed as far as I can figure out and I can't set the volume on the alarm.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is an example of why you should buy american-made. when i got this unopened box home, i found it was missing the part that holds the backup battery and the battery. i exchanged it the next day and to make sure the new one was okay i had the return person open the new box. it was missing the the same stuff. also the third and fourth boxes. so i can't tell you if the radio is working. i can tell you that whoever checks the assembly-line packers should not be working.

I do like that it sets itself automatically during time change. I like the light on the ceiling at night and the easy adjustment of the light in the front a lot.

However, the buttons are a tad on the small side. The backlight is orange. There is no option to change the alarm sound, other than radio station. Prefer a digital radio station finder and pre-set stations.
