While this one allows this operation: (1) the sleep timer works inconsistently -- I can set it for 60 minutes and the radio remains on all night; (2) hitting "snooze" when I wake up shuts the radio too -- my old one would let me hear the radio, while the buzzer would sound again after 10 minutes. Also buttons on top of radio are not easy to find in the dark.

But, from a functional standpoint, the design is terrible and it has about as much style as a cube of coal. The main problem is that everything is black. The labels for the buttons on top are gray - gray against black isn't very readable unless you have some light hitting it and in the right direction. The buttons on the back are simply raised or indented letters - black-on-black. Again, almost impossible to read. There are two very small pads on the bottom front corners. The back corners are hard plastic...so it slides instead of staying put. Bottom line - it's not user-friendly, at all. I'm taking it back.

The best feature is the LED display which doesn't light up the room like some of the LCD displays out there The cube styling is not the most fashion forward these days.

Only trouble was that it does not have the ability to play music from my I-Phone 5S. Returned it because I really like to wake up to music from my phone.
