However, after using it, I found out that the projection system (which was a main reason I purchased this) shuts off after 16 hours. This little detail is buried within the user manual. So, it means that you have to turn the projection feature on EVERY DAY if you want it to project continuously! What were they thinking? The only other disadvantage is that most of the buttons on the top are very small, and all the same size. So they are not easy to fumble around with by touch in the dark (but I'm starting to get the hang of it). Super disappointed about the projection though.

However it keeps time about 5 minutes faster than my phone or the official time on the news etc. which is also by satellite.

For one, the alarm is too quiet (even at its loudest), and second after a few minutes the alarm just stops on its own. So if I oversleep, the alarm won't keep going to wake me up eventually it just turns itself off

If the alarm is set with the radio, it is necessary to set the volume level prior setting the alarm as suggested under the operating instructions and in order to make sure that the alarm keeps on buzzing you can set the Snooze feature for few more minutes which will go as follows: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60. Setting two different set of alarms can help as well, keep in mind that as part of normal operation if the alarm is sounding and no operation is performed it will stop after 60 minutes.
