The projection function stops after a light use. I just use this as a quick way of telling time at night. I like the way it displays different brightness but it is not as durable as I know of a “Sony” product. Used to equate Sony to top notch- not any more since it’s made in China and not Japan anymore. Not recommended to those who wants alarm clock that lasts a little longer than one year.

It's getting hard to find a good clock under $50, I thought I would try this one even though I have sworn off all Sony products, mistake. Besides not going off at all two times, the radio stations are almost impossible to tune in, I can't even extend the antenna because it's build into the short power cord. The orange/yellow display is very distracting & the audio sounds like the bass is all the way down & the treble is all the way up.

The AC power cord functions as an FM
antenna. Extend the AC power cord fully to
increase reception sensitivity.
Rotate the unit horizontally for optimum
reception. A ferrite bar AM antenna is built
into the unit.
Do not operate the unit over a steel desk or
metal surface, as this may lead to
interference

You are paying for the cube shape. The description said it had Bluetooth and it doesn’t. I called the Best Buy help line to tell the guy it needs changed and he just laughed at me. Not happy with this purchase. Returned it.

Posted .Hi LYNG, thank you for your comment, reviewing the manual for the Alarm clock radio you can adjust the volume, if the alarm is set on radio alarm, but if you are only using the buzzer alarm option the volume will only increase *Emily*
