In order to hear it properly the speaker has to be faced out and then the radio face with the time is not visible. I kept it instead of returning it and now it just annoys me that I didn't return it for something different.

So the mirror of course reflects any objects/patterns lying in front of it which makes it very distracting. I return it to the store for an exchange.

Alarm not loud enough.

The alarm never gets loud enough to wake someone out of a sound sleep. I have slept through twice (!) in the 2 weeks I've owned it. Would return it, if I hadn't thrown away the box.

It looks nice and I do like the way the alarm wakes you. Two big issues: This clock runs fast, picking up a minute every month. This is the only electric digital clock I've ever owned that couldn't keep accurate time. Additionally, this clock ships with the battery installed AND RUNNING. So if it sits on a shelf waiting to be purchased, the battery will be dead like mine was. The instruction manual says you are supposed to take the clock to a Sony dealer, and show them the instruction manual, so they believe that you are supposed to go to them to replace the battery under warranty! I'm not dealing with a repair shop to replace a battery.
