It was ok but had to return it because it wouldn't work using batteries like it was suppose to. I bought it so if a outage happened again I will have entertainment and can stay informed.

Does a great job of getting me up when I'm sleeping

After our old, dial, Sony clock radio stopped working after 15+ years (may be longer), bought the next generation model. At first, it worked great - loved being able to switch between radio and the nature sounds. But after 6 months the alarm didn't go off and NONE of the other features worked (no radio; no nature) - only the time. Unplugged for a few days and plugged back in. The nature and radio started working but stopped after a few hours. Not worth sending to Sony to fix. I read the reviews, but assumed I would not get one of the faulty clocks. If you are going to buy this product, I'd buy the 2 year replacement. Seems to go south within the 1st year.

Terrible quality for the price. I wish I could return it or exchange it. I thought Sony would have better FM radio reception.

Alarm has lowest volume of any I have ever used. I have to use radio at loudest setting for the alarm. If this clock had been on display, I would never have bought it. I will not buy anything else from Best Buy if it is not on display .

The radio has been a disappointment. The reception is poor especially on am. To make matters worse, the screen has gone black. Sony is a good name-not sure what happened with this product.

Bought this radio for an older friend. Mostly bought it because it has big clock numbers. It was way too complicated for her to use and the buttons are too small for someone with arthritis in the hands. Had to return it.

Very poor! Can't get signal. The AM/FM button does not work. Returned to Best Buy and they we're not very helpful. Where should ir be returned?

Payed a lot of money for this and was disappointed. The sound quality should be much better considering the price.

AFTER I OWNED THIS PRODUCT ONLY 2 MONTHS IT JUST QUIT WORKING.I CALLEDBEST BUY AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL SONY.I CALLED SONY BUT THEY MADE IT SEEM TOO HARD AND COMPLICATED TO GET REIMBURSED.I WAS ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED.

Hard to set the alarm, clock etc. I gave up and bought something else. Never ended up using it because of bad controls and bad instructions

In this day and age, how can a manufacturer mess up technology from the past? It doesn't have a digital tuner. Locking in on an FM station (without crackling or other noises) using the analog dial is nearly impossible. Even if you do manage, the sound quality is so poor. It has no battery and only works on power. If you are looking at this product, I suggest you pass on this and instead look at Anker SoundCore mini. It has digital scanning for FM, Bluetooth, micro SD card reader and a battery too!!! The only thing the SoundCore Mini cannot do is tell time. But is still a lot better than the Sony.

This was supposed to be a loud alarm. Not so. Since getting one with a loud alarm was important we returned the item. Best Buy accepted the return without issue.

Not recommended, radio sucks, Has a phone port for charging that’s all its good for. It does keep time

I bought this Sony Clock Radio after reading all the positive reviews on several websites. It's a very attractive clock, very stylish, and has all the features I would like to have, maybe more. I read the instructions, plugged it in, and it showed me the time, accurately. But nothing else worked, none of the other buttons, the projector, alarms, nothing. Sadly, I returned it, and haven't decided whether to try another. It costs more than I've ever paid for an alarm clock. I think that my experience may be unusual, with so many positive reviews. I am usually very satisfied with Sony products.

This was not as intuitive as I hoped. Too many buttons to press and actually too many options. Just wanted an easy on/off clock radio. still can’t figi out how to turn alarm off.

Would be perfect if the light that shines on the wall didn’t shut off every 16 hours. Otherwise it’s a great clock radio in a box.

Not that simple to use. The buttons on the top are difficult to see unless you have direct light on the top of the radio.

This Sony product does not work. The buttons don't work and even if you change the battery, as the product page suggests, it still does not work. Sony has a 15 day warranty on this product and ships it late so you don't have anytime to return it. I'm more disappointed in Best Buy for selling this product when even their employees know it doesn't work. Because Best Buy Customer Service would not allow me to return this item, I am cancelling my account with Best Buy.

Terrible audio quality from speaker. Did not like controls on front back and sides. The alarm buzzer was so low that it would never wake me up.
