I d not keep a radio tuned just to one station so that I will always wakwe up to Jo and Shmo on KRPP. I found the "dial-less" feature extremely annoying

Not allowed to examine radio before buying

There was no display radio, and I was not allowed to open the box. When I got home, I found that the radio was totally unsatisfactory for my needs, so I promptly returned it. The radio may be suitable for other people.

However, that being said it broke after about 9 months of use and I can only hope that Sony will fix it or replace it with a unit that lasts. My first sony clock radio worked reliably for 20 years. If it were not for the failure of the unit this would be a five-star review.

Just when the warranty expired (12 months) the trouble started. At first unplugging it, then removing and replacing the battery, and lastly plugging it back in worked. Today nothing works.

Very light so it slides around the bureau. Better for a smaller area than what I have. Did not set time automatically like it states. I had to do it manually. Should have returned it when I had the chance.
