When I opened the packaging, the clock itself was out of the bag, the bag was sitting on top of the clock! Then, the clock itself have finger prints everywhere. I sure was expecting a brand new unit and not a return or refurbished product for $60 that I paid for this clock. Something similar happened to another order (KitchenAid) of mine from 4 weeks ago that I ended up returning. I suspect that the KitchenAid and this Sony clock were shipped directly from the manufacturers and not Best Buy. I thought I will give it a try anyway. I cleaned it up and set it up. Here are the features I like: 1. Swivel projector - I have it sitting on top of my side table in the bedroom and I have it projected to my 16 foot ceiling with no issues. You can turn off the projector once you wake up in the morning and turn it on again at night at bedtime. I bought this clock for this feature. 2. USB plug in for any device that can be charge with USB. I will use for my iPhone. 3. Auto adjust clock with daylight savings time. 4. Brightness/back light can be adjusted to bright, medium, and off. I have mine off so you would not know this cube sitting on my night stand is a clock. 5. Relaxing sounds built in - waves, rain, birds, and 2 more. I probably would not use this feature. Here are the features I don't like: 1. Sound quality of the AM/FM was awful in my opinion. I own Bluetooth speakers and headphones made by Sony and they are awesome. Not this clock! 2. Too many wires sticking out - the AM/FM antenna wiring. 3. AM/FM radio - I was hoping to listen to some AM stations for certain games. I was not able to get a decent signal. 4. Too many buttons and too small - I needed extra light to see what the buttons were for. It took me longer than it should to setup. For $60, I don't think I am getting my money's worth. Maybe $40 at the most. Like I said, I have not quite made up my mind if I will keep this or not.

This fits perfectly in the same spot, has a battery backup, is easy to read and the time is set automatically. It took a few minutes to figure out how to adjust it for my time zone, since it came set for the east coast. I don't need the dual alarm settings or the radio function, but for just a clock, it's perfect and the price was reasonable. (The amber color is fine, too - 3 brightness settings.)
