It looks aesthetically pleasing and stylish with its contemporary/modern look. It has red projector to project time on the ceiling/wall as needed. ( I personally find this amusing and useful since i'm near sighted. ) You can personalize so much with this. you can wake up to your alarm or radio, etc. It even has a usb plug so you have extra space you can charge your smartphones. One downside? If you're sensitive to buzzing sounds of electronics when it's charging/plugged in, this product may not be for you ;) especially on your nightstand. This was a gift to my boyfriend, but he hated that.

I bought this clock a few week ago and "You Really Can't Beat It". Really! I'm a big advocate with reading reviews. Not that I take every word as the gospel but it you read a trend repeated in them, it does give me pause. Most of the reviews were glowing. The others seem to nitpick. I luv it. All I needed was an alarm clock. This one caught my eye because of the look. The design is very sharp, contemporary, and does the trick. I didn't buy this for the radio. Once the alarm starts, the sound begins with kind of a slow nudge and works up to a Time to Get UP! The price was perfect too. Honestly-you really can't beat it..

This is one of the best electronic devices i've purchased in awhile- I don't even think of if it simply as an "alarm clock" but a really neat multi-purpose device. I nearly just recieved it in the mail and so far i would rate it an A++! One of the best features for me is the projector i love clocks but hate the annoying sounds they make- this device solves that issue. Also it makes you able to project the time nearly anywhere you please, the rotation feature is very smart and cool. Speakers very nice quality and the nature sounds exactly what i was looking for- good job sony!

Very useful, compact clock, at an attractive price. Easy to set the time and alarm, and time can adjust automatically for daylight saving time. I don't use the radio as much, but it is nice to have it available (AM/FM) when wanted.

The radio arrived and was easy to program. Lighted clock is very easy to see and not too bright. The sound and tone are great. One of the best radios I've had in recent years.

Great little alarm clock radio. The cube is a nice shape/size and it takes up very little space on the night stand. We just wish the station selection was digital to make it easier to select station,

I needed to replace an old clock radio which took up too much space on the night stand. I purchased this because it was small and well priced for a basic clock radio. I was surprised with its flexibility and the radio sound. I should have read the instructions, I am sure figuring out how to turn the alarm off would have been much easier! I like this so much I bought a second one.

I love the projection capabilities. The only downside I encountered is the small button to silence the alarms (however, searching for it forces you to wake up). Radio pick up is good and it has a good variety of nature sounds. I like that I can dim the main screen/shut it off at night. The USB port charges my ipad/phone like it should.

Good sound for such a small clock radio. The USB charging feature is handy, but the most unique feature is the time projection. We shine it up on the ceiling above our bed and it's clear enough for me to read without my glasses! Only improvement I'd make would be to put a photocell with the projector so it would turn on and off based on room light; the current design requires you to turn it on manually at night, and then it'll shut off automatically 18 hours later (unless you turn it off first).

I really like this alarm clock! It has a lot of options such a waking you up with soothing noise or just your ordinary alarm clock sound. The time projector on the wall is really cool and you can move it to project in certain areas. Also it has a usb port so I use it to charge my phone at night. No complaints here! love it!

I've been looking for a decent projection clock for quite some time, as I wanted to replace one that I bought from Sharper Image many years ago. This one fit the bill. I love that the actual clock face can be dimmed or turned off completely. Plus, the projection is not too bright (I like sleeping in dark rooms). My vision without glasses is lousy, but I can see the projected image without a problem. An added bonus is the cell phone charging outlet. Well done. I can't speak for the radio as I don't use this feature, but the ambient sounds are nice if that's your thing. All in all, I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this clock to a friend. In fact, I already have!

My mother loves the radio, she enjoys how simple it is to use, and how easy it is to read the time. The backup battery is great for times you need to unplug and relocate the radio, or the electricity goes out in an emergency. She's happy, I'm happy, great product. I hope it lasts.

I bought this because I needed an inexpensive clock radio while traveling. I never expected I'd actually like it so much I'd write an internet review. First the bad, it does not run on batteries, which I was told at the store, it did. You need AC. We often use a generator for that, so no generator and this radio won't work. Now the good! Has an amazing sound for such a small radio. I suspect this is because the speaker takes up a whole side of the device. It is analog tuning but pulls in stations well. However, if you have a fav station, you need to basically know where to look, then tune it in. There is some back ground static, but minor. The antenna seems to be the cord. One has to play with the cord placement, but it works well when oriented correctly. You just have to figure out what that is, what the optimum surface to place the cord on, and so forth. The clock has turned into the main clock I use. It resets for daylight savings time, power fluctuations (I am often off in the bush running off a generator), daylight savings or not, better than any clock I've ever had. This little cube had it all over my hi tech watch. Took the watch several days to figure a time change out, the cube had it right away. I have not had to use the alarm (we are more tuned to the sun) so can't comment on that, but this is an excellent little clock and radio that deals exceptionally well with power fluctuations or outages. If you are in an urban area, and everybody turning on their air conditioning at once results in a power blip, this clock resets automatically and works accurately. I am impressed, and I don't impress easily! I only wish it would work totally on battery and A/C.

I just got it delivered. Could not be more pleaaed with the appearance of it. The clear front has a shiney look and the numers are large and easy to see. Have not evaluated the operation of it yet. Otherwise I weould give it 5 stasrs.

This Sony alarm clock has great features but best of them is the projector which projects the time onto a wall or ceiling.... which makes it much easier to see the time from your resting position. The nature sounds are a pleasant way to wake up. Overall I'm very happy with the alarm clock.

It was a little hard to figure out setting the radio alarm, but the nature sounds are good. So is the size. very compact..

Difficult to use with extremely small identifications of the many buttons - front back and sides. Included is a very large fold out instruction sheet with small print. Today products that should be simple to use are not. I have learned enough to use the radio with the one station I wish to listen to. Beyond this I will have to consult the very large instruction sheet, I especially like the feature I wanted which is the ability to listen to the radio and bed time and have it shut off at my easily set activation period. Plenty of features but it will take time to master.

The only fault I found with this radio alarm is, the ceiling projection is backward and upside down. I have to read the numbers from right to left.. There is no trouble shooting for this feature. I am unable to return to store so must keep the radio. Disappointed! Is there any way to fix this problem?
