Love the projection of the time on my ceiling. So much better than being blinded by your cell phone in the middle of the night! Not too bright at all, doesn't bother me a bit.

This alarm clock wakes you up slowly by the sound gradually increasing which is great! This reduces the stress of being jolted awake.

I've had this alarm clock for about 5 years, and it has been fantastic! The projector feature is amazing, and the ability to dim/turn off the front display ensures that it doesn't give off too much light.

My wife asked for a new radio-alarm clock 2-3 years ago. She wanted the traditional style but I stumbled on this little guy and liked the features as I am a bit of a techie. She HATED it at first but surprise, surprise......she loves it now and just asked me to order another one for our granddaughter for a birthday gift! That said, the sound quality is a bit tinny but not a big detractor since the sound only serves as a wake up call for us.

This is a great clock radio that is easy to use. The alarm progressively gets louder so you're not startled. I love the projector! It's easy to see on the ceiling. The unit is easy to setup. You can charge your phone, but there's no USB input.

The clock projector is quite useful to learn the time late at night. You do not have to even raise your head to check the time just open one eye and there is the time on your bedroom ceiling in bright red numbers.

The style, shape and size are ideal for a nightstand, it does not take up a lot of room. The illuminated face is not overly bright so it does not light up the room and has 3 adjustment levels. Easy to set up.

On paper this is the perfect alarm clock for what I was looking for: - Nature sounds: Check - Nature sounds can play for different time increments when falling asleep: Check - No bluetooth (I don't want all of those unnecessary EMFs): Check - Nature sounds can be played when waking up: Check - Different brightness levels: Check - Battery backup: Check - Stylish: Check So why the three stars? The nature sounds are about 4-5 seconds in length and loop. This can be insanely annoying once you pick up on it. The rain sound is nice but then it has 3 water drops in one part that is louder than the rest of the rain, when you hear that over and over it can be bothersome. The wave sound, you can actually hear where it resets itself, it's not totally seamless. They shouldn't have been so cheap with the memory, and made each sound last 1 minute, that would have eliminated this problem. This alone tarnishes an almost perfect product for me. I'll still use it but have to play the sound very low so the sound loop is not as noticable.

Clear display. Easy to set the features. Fairly unobtrusive size. Personally, do not like the nature sounds, they are to fast and not realistic.

I bought this to replace an aging ICFC180 "Dream Machine" that's lost FM radio. The new ICFC1PJ has some great features the older device lacks such as nature sounds and ceiling projection, but the inability to change the alarms quickly and easily for different days is a deal killer for me. The older device had several buttons and knobs that made it easy to match alarms to inconsistent schedules. "Weekend" was just a label on the old device, not a commandment; it became the weekend when you push the weekend button, the alarm display changed color to make it easy to tell at a glance if you were off the leash (green) or in the cage (orange). When the ICFC1PJ says it's the weekend, it's Saturday AND Sunday and you better be ready to push buttons very precisely and correctly for what feels like 10 minutes to change the alarm time on any of the four settings. That's great if you are in the groove and tend to forget Monday follows Sunday night, and it's pretty easy to disable any of the alarms. But I became accustomed to the ease and convenience of the multiple alarms on my discontinued "Dream Machine."

I brought this clock radio to wake up to. I like that it has two alarms. can listen to all my radio stations + the nature sounds are the best! Also the large numbers on the display.And I can also charge my cell!

Thisis to replace the old Sony cube radio the we have had for nearly 40 years and it still works. The new one is digital and has more features.

I really like the features of this clock. It has dual time whenever you change to daylight savings time love that feature. I love that you can add two different alarm times which is great !

This radio alarm clock is easy to operate and the size of it is very compact to fit in small places.

We set the clock to bright intensity, but with our light-color walls during the daytime, we can not see the time because of the reflective glare on the reflective clock face. The clock face is not bright enough. It is about a year old, and seemed to be brighter when new. Living near the time zone change boundary, we keep resetting the clock to the correct time zone after a power outage or during daylight saving time changes.... use a battery. Some of the adjustment features have not matched the user guide, and sometimes we have to touch the button several times to get the feature to take our request... such as radio off and setting the alarm time. Re-read the manual and keep it handy. Sometimes I have unplugged the radio to turn the radio off, which I am sure must be an exception, but I have only used the radio a few times because of this. BUT, it does what I bought it for.... it projects the time on the ceiling for night-time clock convenience.

Another Clock Radio in which you almost have to be a "rocket scientist" to set the alarm, & time....Smh?! Why can't we return to the good old days when you just pushed one button to set your alarm, and another to set your clock? But that was not the "only" issue I had with both of the Sony Clock Radios...After the initial alarm goes off in the morning, the sound of the buzzer, or music ascends, going lower in sound! Isn't a Alarm Clock suppose to be LOUD continuously to wake you up?!?!

Clock keeps very good time; is a nice size so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and is easy to see.

Perfect alarm clock with some extended options. The only con is the fact, that the projection clock need to be started manually every night.

I bought this for certain functions such as gradual alarm and the ability to completely black out the display at night. It's also a plus that it sets the time and date itself upon plug in and keeps track of daylight savings time. Like I have seen from others, mine broke rather quickly, less than a month. Sony honored their warranty. Since they no longer make the product nor nothing else comparable, they are sending me a check so am trying again with another from BestBuy. I wish their was a "maybe" option for the recommendation. I'll tentatively check "Yes" in hopes that I get more than a few weeks out of this one. I really expected a Sony product to last longer but since they honored their warranty I'll go ahead and give an average rating.
