Purchased this clock radio in March of this year, the unit was dead after less than 5 months. The buttons no longer being responsive. Worked with Sony to return the defective unit and waited to hear back from them, of course I was not contacted as promised and had to continually call them to get updates. Was finally told that they no longer have that unit or any comparable unit in stock and they would be issuing a refund not including sales tax in 4-6 weeks. Very disappointed in Sony, a brand that I have trusted and purchased many products from over the years.

This clock radio stopped wiring after 4 months. I contacted Sony who said thane the battery out and pace it back in but that didn't work. I'm going to bring it bad to the store today and see what they say.

Too bad I bought my first one set it up and it worked for two days then for some reason the natural sound feature would turn on and no buttons would shut it off. I unplugged it the sounds were off but none of the buttons worked. I brought it back and exchanged it for same clock. It lasted three days then the same problem. Returned it and bought the cheaper one for 29 bucks and its been working for the last week. Fingers crossed it will last. It fails Im boycotting Sony corporation. No problem with customer service in best buy, there great its just a poor quality clock.

The projector stopped working in the first 30 days, but unfortunately after Best Buy's 15 day replacement period, so now at the mercy of the Sony process. They are going to send me labels to return it for repair??!! Really?? A $60 item - wait for a repair? I've dealt with the Sony process before; never easy. I don't know why I keep trying their products... A 30 day return period at Best Buy for defective products rather than 15 would be nice, but Best Buy was great getting me the documents that I needed for Sony.

This is my second bad experience with BestBuy. This product mentions that it can be used as Bluetooth speakers. however, there is no such feature in the item. Also, it says that the battery is included but there was no battery when I got it. When I called the customer care, they rudely said that they dont guarantee all the features mentioned online. Is this some kind of joke? Why will anyone shop online then? Very unsatisfied.

The radio had poor sound quality. There is no way to fine tune reception

Dimmable red numerals great. Sound tinny. Very hard to tune to station. Very easy to accidentally change station.

The only thing this clock radio/alarm clock does is show the current time and charge the cellphone. None of the buttons on the clock for setting the alarm or using the projection function or using the sleep sounds or using the radio do anything when pressed. I followed the instructions included and also looked at YouTube videos. Too bade for me that I needed to use this as an alarm clock. What a waste.

If you need a loud alarm or loud clock radio to wake you, this is not for you. I bought it and returned it the next day!!

I regret buying this Sony clock radio. After 13 1/2 months, it stopped working -- the year and date flashes, and won't show the time. I tried to re-program, but it's dead. Sony has a 12 month warranty on this product because they know it's junk. Look at consumer websites and you'll see lots of complaints from people like me, whose clocks broke after a year and a few weeks. DON'T BUY IT.

Radio STINKS! I guess the clock works, but the radio doesn't deserve that designation - it's a great noise-maker tho. I bought it to do both, and it certainly flunked all my expectations. I need to drive 45 minutes EACH WAY to return it too.

The design is terrible. The on button is hard to find. The off button is not labeled. The clock is ten minutes slow and can’t be adjusted. The speaker is in the wrong side. The light for the time is too bright. I have used this clock radio for two years and it is badly designed.

I bought this based on features and reviews. The first one worked for about an hour then the screen went blank. With the second one no button on the clock would work. Should I try a third one? I don't think so. Best Buy was great in handling returns and shipping so not their fault the clock is lousy. Expected better from Sony,

The time is correct but nothing else works. None of the buttons function. I ordered this after seeing all the good reviews but the unit I got is defective.The clock display is a little bright. If it was working, I'd turn down the brightness.

Just picked this clock up today. Out of the box, none of the buttons worked. I went to the Sony website and reset the clock by pulling the backup battery as recommended, now it flashes 12:00 and none of the buttons respond. This is amateur hour stuff Sony. I will be returning this hunk of junk tomorrow.

I wanted to like this unit. Very clean look. Easy to operate but the FM reception is TERRIBLE!! Constantly having to adjust the dial to get a clean signal. Then once you do, if you move anywhere around the unit, the signal is lost.

We bought this clock 5 months ago and it's already broken. Will only flash 12:00AM, cannot change time, date etc. We tried all the reset directions, put in a new battery, etc. no luck. Now we have a $60 paperweight. It's worthless. Don't buy it.

This Sony clock radio worked for couple months and then stopped working. No buttons respond and I cannot set the clock nor listen to radio. Please consider purchasing any brand other than Sony. Their products are highly unreliable.

The main purpose of an alarm clock is to wake you up. This would be a great product if it was loud enough to do that. It is not. It is one of the quietest alarm clock's I've ever owned. It goes back to the store tomorrow.

Similar to another person's review, the clock shipped to me was also missing the battery and the cover plate. Back to the store this clock went! Other than that important part (i.e., battery backup), it seemed to be a nice clock.
