Small size with Large numbers, projection of time works great. Like being able to have 2 different alarms with choice of sounds.

This is a review of the Sony Model ICFC1PJ Dual Alarm Clock Radio with a projector time display. I'm mentioning that as there seem to be reviews for another clock radio mixed in. This radio features a projector display to show the time on the wall or ceiling, a digital radio tuner with scan function and 5 radio preset buttons to enable you to preset 5 AM and 5 FM radio stations. The clock radio also features and ambient sound feature, with sounds like rain or birdsong. Setup of the clock was easy. The time is preset to Eastern Time when you receive it, however it was slightly off. Resetting the time was easy and so far the time seems to be remaining correct. You have two alarm buttons, they can be programmed for weekday, weekend or both with the choice of AM,FM or ambient sound sources. I have my weekday alarm set with an FM station and my weekend alarm set with bird sounds.' The digital radio tuner was easy to use. Press the right or left tuner button and the radio advances to the next station. Hold it down for a second and the tuner goes into scan mode, playing each station for a few seconds before moving on to the next. It made choosing station presets much easier. My previous clock radio had an analog tuner and the frequency was always wandering, requiring frequent resets and poor signals. This digital tuner locks on to the signal and holds it, no wandering, just clean sound. The sound is certainly good for a clock radio, clear and with decent frequency response. I love the projector feature. The projector sticks out on the one side and rotates 180 degrees so that you can project the time to the wall behind you, the ceiling or the wall in front of you. There is a focus dial to ensure that the image is sharp. I have the projector image on my popcorn ceiling, the image is still nice and clear and displays the time and active alarm. I love being able to look up in the middle of the night and know what time it is.

As with most of Sonny’s products this alarm clock does not disappoint. This alarm clock has great features like nature sounds to help you sleep and projects time on the ceiling. The cost was above average, but well worth it…….. I would recommend…..

Super reliable, sets itself even after my power went out. Lots of variety of nature sounds and the projector is great when you don't want the blue light glaring in the night time. Very cool design too. Overall really great.

We like the design and the projection was one of the features we were looking for. We also use the USB charger daily for the cell phone. Strange enough, the screen had a problem within the warranty period and we could exchange it. The numbers appeared partially without any reason. The new one is however working ok for several months.

This was a replacement for an Analog Clock. It has enough light to see at a distance and the projector makes it even better. The light it emits from the projector in the daylight isn't as bright as I would like it to be, but it works exceptionally well at night. I like the fact that it comes with a pre-installed battery since we already had a power outage I didn't have to reset the time. I also like the option of charging devices with a built in port. Very good Quality and Well made. Only negative I can think of, is that it can be difficult to program at first but just read the instructions.

Oh, I'm so in love with this! It's not too expensive. It's easy to set up & I LOVE the clock that you can see on your ceiling. Plus, it shows you when the 1 or 2 alarm clocks are set too!

I have had Sony Dream machines. Now needed a new one for our living room. Had to be a small space saver. This works. I questioned the alarm, but the beeps start low and slowly get loud. I like it. Only down thing is it does not have digital radio tuner.

I purchased and returned several clock radios before I finally found one that did not require an engineering degree to figure out and whose radio had a clear, non-staticky sound. Good 'ole reliable SONY came through. This clock/radio is easy to set up, the radio works beautifully, and the amber color of the numbers is easy to see and read. I haven't had occasion to use the alarm, but its set and ready to go when I need it.

Very readable, brightness adjustable, easy to set, alarm starts out low and gradually increases in volume. Radio ok, build is cheap, but the cost is cheap so that's the main reason why i bought it. Works for me.

Nice. Small but powerful clock radio. Only negative is forgot how to change settings once and had to look at instructions again.

My Sony AM/FM radio is small and compact with easy to use buttons to set up alarms. I enjoy the sound, too.

Compact, but sounds great and works like a charm. Alarm is loud enough to wake me and I'm a heavy sleeper.

This has a small footprint-perfect for my bed side table, and is beautiful to look at. It's ~a 4" cube-black on the top, bottom and back and silver on the rest. The projection wheel is on the left side and is .5" wide. I only use it for the radio, charge my cell and the time. My only complaint is that the programming buttons on the top are too small and because they serve several functions programming can be a challenge. Still I'm very happy with my choice.

A great little clock radio. The display is crisp and clear even from across the room. The sound is impressive for a small speaker. It gets a bonus from me for automatically adjusting to Daylight Saving Time (once the date is set as part of the initial setup.) The only downside is the On-button and Timer-button being buried in-between other buttons, making them hard to access by feel alone.

It has time very bright, easy to use great sound, and charging station for phone. Love it.

Clear sound, easy settings, nice alarm options, clear radio reception, nice compact size (and why would I not recommend to a friend? Just because it is not something I do unless I am asked)

I know most people use their cell phones as their alarm clock, but I actually enjoy having a "real" alarm clock. This Sony alarm clock fit my needs perfectly and I definitely recommend. Not only does the clock look great, but it is highly functional. I especially enjoy the USB port present on the side of the clock - I have my iPhone charger connected to the clock and it charges perfectly. The numbers on the face of the clock are a brilliant white and the brightness can be lowered or turned completely off. There is a feature to project the time onto your ceiling - I have used it a couple of times - more of a gimmick than a need. If you don't like the standard buzz of an alarm or waking up to the radio, you can choose alternate sounds like the ocean or birds chirping. This alarm clock allows multiple alarms to be set. This is a great product and I am very happy!

This efficient, compact design was what I wanted--very Japanese if you also like the almost black lacquer look. I do. Great for the tight spaces available on bedroom set headboards. Tuner adjustment is fine if your not likely to change it much, using it mostly for morning wake-ups (to hear the traffic report, weather, ect.). However, I would not find it convenient for frequent channel changing to jump all over the dial chasing favorite music. Color of LED's seems ideal, a deep orange for most lighting conditions but not the traditional full night vision red from the 1970's digital clocks. It was perhaps pricey but I have found it a satisfying purchase, doing it's job very well. Buzzer is pleasant to wake up to, not a jarring unpleasant type as are found on cheaper digital clocks--this is important to me. Otherwise of course you can select your own music station. I would say this unit was worth the purchase. A high quality build, too. Well done, Sony.

This is a great little radio. It has good sound, has a bright display and it is compact.
