The alarm comes on with a soft ring then gets louder, but is a pleasant sound. The switch for the alarm is hard to turn off and on, but with time you learn how to operate the switch.

First it ran 15 minutes fast. I ended up calling Sony to reset only to see that the clock reverted back to 15 minutes fast. Last week I tried to change the clock to coincide with the change in time. For some reason it changed but still runs 5 minutes ahead. Love the size, but am surprised that Sony would produce an inferior product

The projection in the ceiling is what I was looking for. The red isn’t too bright as I was first afraid it would be. The only negative is that you have to turn the projection on. It will stay on for 8hrs but it’s just become a part of my routine now to turn on when getting in bed!
