Initially I believed the front panel was a mirror, but it is not. There is no bright glare from the numbers which makes it easier to fall asleep at night. I really like this clock because of it's smaller size and shape. Doesn't take up much room on a nightstand.

The issue I have is the project laser display on the ceiling turn off automatically after 15 hours. previous clock I had the projection was on all the time which is what I wanted.

The numbers are easy to read without being overly bright. I really like the adjustable brightness. The radio has decent sound and good signal, If it had Bluetooth or an aux input, it would be perfect.

I was confused I miss alarm clocks with obvious buttons and functions I feel that way about many new things with such buttons and instructions that include the pretouch screen car radios
