However, the clock projects the time in red letters onto the ceiling. So there is no light in the room to keep you awake, and you can look at the ceiling to see the time. Great alarm also. I would caution to not look into the projection laser light.

I tried and failed several times, even after having read the direction many times, including on the Q&As for the product. In addition, the "buttons" are very small, and their labels for the various functions are difficult to read--at least for anyone over 40, probably. But once you can overcome those difficulties, it is pretty good.

The feature of dimming the lights, gradual increase volume of the alarm, multiple alarm settings, and size make this the perfect clock for me. I like it so much I bought another one for my wife to have her own.....since we wake up at different times. You won't go wrong with this one.
