I bought this for my 94-year-old mom who has limited tech skills and is hard of hearing (wears two hearing aids). I had to set it up for her and instruct her to use it, but she told me she loves it. The alarm is loud enough for her to hear, the numbers are nice and big, and we both like the projector feature. I set up both alarms, one for her to wake up in the morning and one to wake up for her afternoon nap. It's nice that you can choose to set the alarm for just weekends, just weekdays, or both.

Alarm clocks are less popular now due to smartphones, but my phone isn't loud enough to wake me up in the mornings. This is a solid alarm clock and I love that the time projected on to the wall can be rotated to however you need it. I especially love waking up to the nature sounds. No more waking up to a racing heart with the older buzzing alarms.

When looking for anew alarm clock, one of the most important features is ease of use. The Sony is simple to use, has a non-irritating alarm, and the display is not harsh in a dark room. Would highly recommend.

Looks really great! Many options, two alarms, radio, easy to use settings. The alarm itself however doesn't sound that loud (and I don't have hearing issues). And the snooze time is automatically extended each time you hit snooze.

I still enjoy some local AM radio channels. I needed a device to charge my iPad or iPhone but still keep access to radio choices. This clock/alarm combination is perhaps the only remaining choice that does that. Everything works well.

I was purchasing this item for my dad who just needed a basic clock with a radio. He is elderly and didn’t want the fancy things associated with gadgets. Unfortunately, I set it up and it’s hard for him to manipulate the controls due to his dexterity. Also the control for on and off for the radio was counter intuitive. On top of it, we could only get one channel on it clearly for him at his apartment. As a result, I returned it. Best Buy was great and refunded without questioning it.

Bought a simple clock for the bedroom just for aesthetics and as an additional alarm for waking up for work. Standard clock that is not too bright that it will bother you at night while trying to sleep. Simple and sleek design.

This clock is everything I was looking for. The soothing white noise to sleep with, and the very clear projection of time on the ceiling. I have very bad uncorrected vision but have absolutely no problem reading the projected time. I already recommended this to a friend.

This product is good. I wish the buzzer alarm was a little louder. The radio alarm is better. Radio volume is decent and the display is nice. For the price you can't beat it.

I love it because I can put two alarms to wake me up. It also has music for me to listen too. And I also like the different sounds it has to wake me up. Plus I really like the laser projector clock.

I bought this Sony AM/FM Dual Alarm Clock Radio to replace a decades-old clock radio that was showing its age. I didn't need a phone charger or any of the features of more expensive products -- just a simple clock radio. I have always had good experiences with Sony products; so far so good with this one. The radio is crisp and clear, no static; the alarm is easy to set and reset. It also includes a battery backup in case of a power outage, which came in handy during a couple of recent storms. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is the brightness of the LCD display. It's adjustable, but even the dimmest setting is a bit brighter than I'd like. Over all, good purchase -- and a good price.

Needed to buy a new alarm clock as I've been using my old Sony Dream Machine for over 25 years. Chose this model as the numerals were large & bright, and because it has dual alarm capability. The "off" button is small and needs getting used to, but other than that it's a perfectly dependable alarm clock with great looking design.

I needed to replace an old clock radio. My mom has an older version of this one and loves it so she recommended I look at it. It is just what I need. I set the alarm and have never had to touch it since. Radio automatically turns off in an hour and the time automatically adjusts for daylight savings time. It just sits there and works!

I love going to sleep to the ocean waves and waking up to softly falling rain.....and having the choice of different nature sounds. I also really like that I can adjust the brightness of the delay or even turn it off, if I want. The tiny buttons take a little to get used to, but after that it's all good.

Its easy to use and clear to see. Its great for the purpose in that we use it, the sound is pretty good for the cost of the item.
