I have been looking for an alarm clock that is not too bright at night--I am still looking. Even on the dimmest setting, it casts shadows in the room.

This alarm clock looks good and sounds good too. The alarm is quite but effective in the morning.

Love the look and easy to use. You have to turn the projector on every night would prefer it to have a sensor so it would automatically come on.

Ok I knocked one star off because the dimmer function could be dimmer. I like just a faint glow at night. Turned the clock toward the wall; crisis averted! Love the fact that you can just plug it in and it already knows what time it is. Just a minor adjustment with the time zone if you aren't in the eastern zone. Looks great and outstanding price!

This clock is excellent for the alarm as well as projection of accurate time on the ceiling.

We are seniors and it took a while to get the clock set up. Of course we have not had a new radio clock for over twenty years, so our old clock was really out-dated. But we are enjoying our new clock very much.

Love the calm view of it at night - not the weird blue light that I had from my old phone. I can read the time easily. I love the dual alarm setting too. Loved this clock so much - I ran out and bought another one for the future

AWESOME radio/alarm clock. Has two alarms great when I work different shifts. Easy to program. terrific sound for such a small device

Easy use and good quality. The family was looking for new clock and this was perfect fit.

This Sony alarm clock performs all the functions you would expect from an alarm clock. The Good: 1. The clock comes "pre-set". Rather than set the time, you only have to select the time zone and the clock does the rest. 2. The "gradual wake" feature is nice. It starts beeping (quietly) a minute or two before the alarm goes off. 3. The screen brightness can be adjusted. The Not-So-Good: 1. Every alarm clock since the beginning of time has poor quality speakers. This clock is no exception. 2. The radio tuner is difficult to use. The "window" that displays the frequency is really small.

Simple, easy to use and has buttons on top that iam use too. Also not to bright and right size.

The only thing I didn't like is the sound of the radio. I figured since its a Sony brand and Sony is known to create some of the best speakers and other electronics I think they could have done better. But overall its a futuristic looking item in my opinion.

I love all the bells and whistles on this alarm clock. From the soothing nature sounds to the gradual wake-up. To the projection of the time.

This radio/alarm has been excellent. I needed a dependable alarm and this has been 100% effective! I like the projector feature too

I love all of the features on this alarm clock: automatic time set up (just plug in and go), nature sounds, dual alarms, battery backup, etc.

Pros: -Price -Small footprint -It does tell time Cons: -Lowest brightness setting of display is still too bright for bedroom. It's like an unwanted nightlight -Switches to turn off alarm are recessed and firm and difficult to operate, especially when you're just trying to turn off the alarm in the dark. -Radio quality is not great, but I didn't expect much for the price. -Controls are not intuitive. You turn on radio by pressing a small button that says "RADIO", yet turn it off with a different button that says "ALARM/RESET". Huh? (oh, if you look super carefully at that tiny button, you'll see it has the word "OFF" imprinted on it. It's impossible to read. This product desperately needed some usability testing).

Works very well. Given the small size, the radio's audio is rather tinny, but what can you expect from a tiny speaker? The projection of the time and alarm status on the ceiling works well and is clear and sharp after focusing it. A few too many buttons on the top to sort out when you're half awake, but you quickly learn the important two of them that shut off the two alarms.

Overall very good with some annoyances: to turn the sound off I have to turn the volume down to zero (no on/off button). Labeling is hard to read for older eyes even with glasses (make white brighter or back lit). Really like the time projection to the ceiling.

It is always nice to have a backup plan when something goes wrong. If the power goes out, not only will you not lose track of time, or the several alarms you have set to get ready for work, you can still charge your USB devices.
