Did not realize that the market has pretty much shifted to wireless. I'm old school and like my wired headphones. Purchased this model cause Sony has always treated me well. Wish the companies would make higher quality wired headphones....not everyone wants wireless, but these do the job.

I was worried they would be hard and uncomfortable. They are the exact opposite. Gel like material on piece around ear is fantastic. Sound quality is great as well!

The ear buds that came with the player had much better sound, especially the bass. But, no matter what I tried, they kept falling out. This new pair fits snugly and securely, which is great! I wish the sound was better, but at least they stay put.
