The speaker holes are positioned in such a way that the sound gets blocked. I will never again buy headphones without the speaker hole pointed directly into the ear. Even at full 100 percent volume on my Laptop I could still barely hear anything. Ended up purchasing a different set of Sony branded ear buds that work wonderfully.
