It takes a little practice but once you figure out the position it needs to be in, it charges fine.

The "hole" into which my battery fits is way too large and the battery's metal sections do not sit in the space properly. The battery never charges. I am calling the store.

The switch changes the size of the 'battery pocket' to fit one of 4 battery types. A bit confusing but it does charge the battery.
