I just bought a new camera, which the sales associates took time to explain to me. But the Sony camera said it takes up to 5 hours to charge camera battery, for maybe worst case 90 minutes of battery life. So, going on major retirement trips--a safari--I needed this.

I like the fact that it is a smart charger that communicates the batteries info. I've heard many stories of third party battery chargers not properly charging oem batteries to the full capacity. I know they are costly but are well worth the cost.

The Sony battery charger BC-TRW provides a means to charge the second battery while the camera is in use. It plugs into a wall socket negating the need to connect the battery to the camera for a charge. Provides a fast charge and is worth the cost.

Pretty standard battery charger that works for the W series of batteries. The inductor lights on it are helpful in knowing how charged your battery is. It’s an essential to your camera gear

I was looking for my camera that would work as well as the OEM cable unit that came with the camera. If you can overcome the sticker shock, this thing is the may to go. Chargers batteries reliably and fast, so it well worth the extra cost

Works very well. I purchased it because one did not come with the camera that I bought. I think I made a good choice.

This is a good charger for your camera. I ended up returning it because I had an extra one, but it is very good!

Like the header says, this just does what it's supposed to. I would not say that it's much faster charging if you have a device that charges in camera, as I have had a a6000 and a A7ii but having this will allow you to charge multiple batteries, one in camera and one outside in this device, if you have multiple batteries. Its nice compact and easy to store away or to travel with. I use Sony products and would never trust my Sony gear with generic batteries or chargers. Its not worth the risk to my safety or the investments I've made in my gear. No brainer what ever the price you pay for it.

I'm glad i purchased this one. It charges my batteries a lot faster. I use a sony a7sii and we all know battery life sucks so there's like 10 batteries to charge every time .

Much easier to charge my battery instead involving the camera. Seems faster is a plus.

This is a good charge. The outlet plugs swivel out for ease of plugging. The battery fits tight and it charges quickly. It is easy to forget you have it plugged in until you need it. I reccomend this charger for the Sony a6300 camera

Sony BC-TRW charger. Nice compact size. Charges battery to 100% as per camera display. The meter shows charge level while charging. That's good ,but it would be better if you could put a battery in unit to see what its charge level was before charging. You can put a fully charged battery back in, and the charger shows no level like it was a dead battery.

I don't know why Sony does not include a battery charger with the a6000, but they don't. I really like having an external factory battery charger for my cameras, so I purchased this one. It works as described and I am very happy with it.

So far so good. It charged to different batteries for my camera in my house. I have yet to try it on the road, and have only owned this a short time so I can not comment on the long turn performance.

Charging a camera battery while in the camera makes so you can't use the camera. Always have an extra battery so you can use the camera while charging the other battery and this charger makes it possible and very easy.

lost my battery charger for my nex camera. luckily bestbuy had this or my camera would have been useless. Works perfect, I don't remember what my original charger looked like but this seems to be a little bit nicer.

Open box products are not bad to buy. Its worth it and charges fast. I don't have any problem at all

The charger is easy to carry around and simple to use, which I find really convenient.
