Excellent charger and portable! If your battery is drained, it will take a long time to charge the battery. However, if your battery is about 50% and you just need to recharge it, it is fast. The first time I charged my drained battery, it took almost 3 hours. Afterwards, from half, it only takes about an hour to fill it up. It is a bit expensive compared to non branded chargers. Highly recommended.

This is a great companion to your Sony camera. It's much easier compared to plugging my camera to a wall outlet. With an extra battery you'll be able to shoot 4k 30fps all day (as long as your SD card allows the storage). Being able to hot swap batteries with this has been amazing. It's great for travel and it's a great place to store your extra battery as well. The light indicators are very helpful to know when the battery is done charging.

During my holiday in the Sahara I constantly was needing to charge my batteries. Luckily with my solar charger and battery charger I was able to take pictures of amazing things. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. I also didn't go anywhere but my house, I forgot mine in hotel room with a battery charging on it. I love cookies and now after typing this will be partaking in a cookie of chocolate. Cheers

Very lightweight, very easy to use, charges pretty fast and it shows u when its fully charged

Love this. Also bought an extra battery - Sony NP-FW50. You should have at least 2 batteries so that one can always be charging while you are using the other. But if you get this charger too, then you can be charging two batteries at once - one on the charger that came with the camera (or the camera itself) and one on this charger. The retractable plug is great for travel or sticking it in your camera bag.

Great small charger. Charges batteries in a few hours. Packs well in camera cases and can easily be read to understand how far your battery is in the charge process.

The charger's weight is only 68 grams (2.4 ounces) according to my scale and for me it is ideal for travel. Size-wise, it is just a bit larger than the battery. Battery sits tight in the charger meaning it is NOT loose and falls out. The charger displays - with 3 green lights - what the current charging level is. The plug is retractable which is again good for travel.

I read reviews first before purchasing because I was torn between getting the knock off brand or this one and I went for the one because I wanted to make sure it works correctly with my Sony a5000 and it definitely does, it charges the battery very quickly and it's very useful being that the only way you can charge the camera is with the little cord and I was not having that!

These Sony battery chargers are what go with our new camera's batteries and we believe in always being ready for a great picture. SOO with that said one battery charger with 3 batteries does not work when being ready for great photo taking. We always go for at minimum 2 batteries and chargers. We currently take so many pictures we have 3 batteries for each camera and 2 chargers, for the NEW Sony RX10-IV which have a range up to 600mm. We plan to never miss that extra ordinary picture. When you ask for value.... Everything is expensive today so I give it a 4... because it is actually the cost of doing business.... even on vacation!

Compact charger for Sony NP-FW50. It plugs straight into the wall with no extension required. The first 10-15 minutes charges your battery the quickest. Depending upon how depleted the battery, it can bring it back to 50% quickly before slowing down.

If you have a Sony 6000 series mirrorless camera and do extended photo shoots, you need an extra battery. If you have the spare battery, you need the W series battery charger. It is a quick and sure way to charge that spare while off camera, quicker than USB recharging on camera. Don't get caught without a fully charged spare!

So far since I've bought my camera in December, this charger is still going strong. Very reliable and it has a status indicator to tell you if your battery is ready or needs charging. It's small enough to not take up too much space. Overall I would recommend this product if you're in need of a Sony battery charger.

This charger is compact & works well. I like be able to charge my camera without having to have it plugged in. I have a spare battery pack & can charge both batteries at the same time if needed. This charger is very convenient & easy to travel with without being left out in the cold if I misplace the charging cable.

This is great to charge my battery for my Sony zve-10. Now I can charge two batteries at the same time if needed. One in camera and this external battery charger.

Works great and I definitely like the portability of it for trips. I like how quick it charges my batteries and how it gives a light indicator on battery charge.

I recently purchased a Sony a6000 camera and realized that the battery has to be in the camera in order to charge the battery. This is a great accessory for the the camera. The charger is small and portable, it stops charging when the battery is full & doesn't require extra cables (it plugs directly into the wall).
