We would like to recommend to try the steps available through the following link and the menu settings of your Blu-ray player to make sure that the unit is set properly : 1- make sure that the screen settings of your Blu-ray player are set to detect the size of your television, the television type selecting 16:9 and that the screen format is set to full.
