    We bought our first DVD player six months ago and are very happy with this Sony model. We especially like the remote which is very easy to read and it looks like the key numbers and words will not rub off, unlike the remote to the TV we bought (Vizio). We don't subscribe to pay channels, so the Netflix option is not used, but we don't mind the dedicated button for it.
