Works great and like it should but you have to buy a hdmi cord just to use it and watch a movie .... the box says it don't have the internet cord and I didn't care but I open the box and I had to go back out to buy a hdmi cord just to use it? Can't believe it .

need a new remote it crashed almost with in a month

The main reason I purchased this Blu-ray player was because it had the Netflix app button on the remote. My wife and I watch a lot of TV shows on Netflix and it makes it easy to access. We have watched a few movies using the Blu-ray player itself both using Blu-ray disc and DVD disc and worked flawlessly

This product would have been perfect accept the internet had to be connected straight to the unit dos not have wireless internet capabilities. Now if landline internet is what you have then this thing is awesome just was not what I was looking for.

Our BlueRay player died and went shopping for a replacement. Our Best But had this player as a open box item. Great price, works great and I saved some money. Very pleased.

It has good smart tv features and apps. For where I use this player having hard wire Ethernet cable is fine and makes it a little less expensive. I wouldn't hesitate to by a wireless though if I needed one. Netflix and Amazon Prime work great on it, which was also a main reason I bought this unit.

It works, easy to hook up. My only issue was when I bought it it was supposed to come with hdmi cable and it didn't. So I had to go back and buy one. Other than that so far so good.

For a basic blu-ray player without the 4K up-scaling or the extra bells and whistles, it works terrifically. My only issue with it was getting it to transmit the highest quality digital sound without modifying it in transit. I got it to work, but it was not very intuitive in that one regard.

Great player, but better options for the same price. This model features all the smart apps but is wired only. There are other models in the same price range that offer the same quality and features, but come fully wireless ready.

We bought this for the bedroom tv and it works great and takes up very little room. Great space saver and good price too.

For the sale price this device has a lot of capability including online content in addition to the DVD player. I use the Ethernet jack to connect to the network, since I had already run a cable to the to the area. Didn't need Wifi, which it doesn't have. No problem.

Great Blu Ray Player. Needed a good one as my previous one which was relativley new that I bought somewhere else kept skipping and the voice sync was off. Since the best buy employee told me this was the best one they carry I have not had a problem since thank you

It's a fantastic blu-ray player, but additionally it has a very large array of "channels" when hooked up to the internet. Very pleased. Works just fine as plain old blu-ray too if you can't plug it in

My grandma isn't very tech savvy. She was still spending hours putting cds in and taking them out of her OLD dvd player. When I showed her she could have ALL of her music on this blu ray player with a $4 thumb drive from Microcenter, she jumped at the chance.

I was very worried when I was told that I must buy a new blue ray dvr because my new flat screen TV needed the kind of cables it used while my old dvr, which worked perfectly for decades, used old fashioned cables. My new blue ray dvr works perfectly.

Although this blu--ray player is a good prodiuct, it's not up to my standards of WOW. But don't discourage you from purchasing this item because it is a good product and it's possible that I was expecting more.

The image on the giant tv's is only as good as the device that is feeding it. This blue-ray player delivers great images.

Wanted a dvd for my new home and this sony dvd exceeds our expectations we really love it and its a perfect size for our new sleek decoration

This was a great purchase. Got it on sale for my mother in law. She wanted to be able to watch movies and use Netflix. It connects to the wifi without issue and works as promised. It is intuitive with the dedicated button for Netflix as well.

This Blue Ray is responsive, easy to navigate through the UI, and is a great bargain. If you do not have a hard wired internet connection available, go with the WiFi model instead.
