Posted .Hello JesusIsLove! Each time the BD player is turned on, the player performs a system check. Because of this system check, it may take approximately 90 seconds for the BD player to start playing a disc. However, this should only occur the first time the player is turned on. After the BD player goes through this initial boot-up sequence, the normal boot-up time will be around 40 seconds. We would like to recommend to change the following setting through your players menu : Home ? Setup ? System settings ? Quick start mode ? ON. ~ Jeannette

The following models, however do come with an HDMI cord supplied BDP-BX550, BDP-BX350 and BDP-BX150, so we will make sure to pass this information regarding the HDMI to the proper department for further review.~Jeannette

She was skeptical when I gave it to her but within a few days she could use it herself without any help. She now has it mastered and absolutely loves it. And, it still works perfectly! If my mom (who was afraid of her own smart cell phone and would only make phone calls with it) can master it and still have it work perfectly, then anyone can!

I placed it in a closet so I was expecting to need some app to control it but it simply worked straight from the TV remote! This was a nice surprise as there was no clear documentation online about this unannounced link between this player and my tv set. Image is crip, extremely pleased with the quality so far.

I like the built in apps like Netflix and YouTube, but there should be a browser or a way to stream additional content. Other than that I'm enjoying it.
