I first purchased a Roku to get YouTube, but it took all movie credits and shrunk them into a small, upper corner box that was unreadable. Also, Netflix streamed shows jump to the next episode, which is annoying. I returned the Roku but both things also happen with this Sony player. And this Sony model went on sale for $10 less about 28 days later but Best Buy will only give a credit 15 days after purchase.

Clean simple bluray player

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The blueray player seems Rock solid but the smart tv functionality needs pampering to avoid buffering (turn off ipv6 support and put googe dns servers in the config page) As for smart TV content..... Other than the major players what's on offer for content is worthless. Either it's very low quality content or so filled with ads its unwatchable. The few pay services that aren't Netflix or hulu are pretty much rip offs puting content you can mostly get legally on archive.org behind a overpriced subscription.
