It does not say you need any other cords. Sales clerk only asked if I needed an hdmi cord. He didn't alert me about it needing any other cords. Everything is wifi today.

Works poorly, if at all

It's probably about to blow altogether. If you're going to buy it, buy the warranty. I've had it about a month.

It’s very user friendly and has the capability to double as a streaming device. Unfortunately, it cannot connect to WiFi wirelessly, but if you have internet through a cable provider you should have close access to a connect with an Ethernet cable.

terrible product, too much hassle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after purchasing and using it rarely it malfunctioned in less that six months and would not download firmware update. brought it back to best buy and stated that I had to contact sony for replacement due to contract agreement. I went through proper channels and received replacement (upgraded product) through sony. not even two months have passed, the replacement started malfunctioning as well. contacted sony again and they offered another replacement. out of frustration I informed them I wanted my money back and will never purchase sony dvd/blu ray players again. of course, to frustrate me some more, as all these large corporations do, they told me, email the receipt for the original product and they will DETERMINE what they can do. I like sony, but best buy needs to honor returns for these poorly manufactured sony dvd players like they do other products they sell. their software for this product, I think is the issue.
