Best thing about this tiny Blu-ray player is how fast it loads discs. My old Samsung ground away for five minutes before the movie started playing. This player gets things going in about 30 seconds. Vast improvement. But majorly disappointed with Amazon App on this device, which for some reason refuses to to see the 40Mbs internet connection I have and instead thinks its 384K. The resulting picture is unwatchable. Smeared, blurry, sub VCR quality. Ditto for Crackle app. VUDU app works correctly for some reason. Skip this player if using any streaming services is a priority.

I have all Sony products from my 55" inch 3D tv to my two blu ray players. Each one has a great picture with a user friendly start screen. Getting it set up the way I wanted under the user menu was simple. It has held up in the living room for about six months now with no problems. Great price for a second player if you need it

Solid Blu Ray player with netflix and YouTube. Pretty much same smart engine as my mid level Samsung TV, if not a little bit faster. Save money with the wired unit if your router is close - otherwise very similar specs to more expensive wireless card players.

Decent blue ray player for 79.99.Works fine for the past one month

Setup was a breeze and, on first use, quality seems really good. I've only used it a hand full of times but pleased so far.

This works well for the reason we purchased this item. It has played dvd's well and was easy to install. It would be nice if HDMI chords were included like the component cords used to come with dvd players, but no company does that, so this one isn't any different. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

This player plays blue ray and regular DVD s. It will stream video from your router if you use a LAN cable. It is not wireless! I spent the better part of two hours trying to get the player to stream Netflix. I found that you need a wired connection to the router. If you are going to stream video from your internet, get one that is wireless this one which is not.

There's nothing fancy about this Sony Bluray player, but that's what I wanted. It simply works well as a Bluray/DVD player. Setup couldn't have been easier. It is a smart device so it is capable of streaming video content etc from various apps. I'm very satisfied with this.

Our DVD player died and we replaced it with this Sony product and couldn't be happier!!

Wish there were more than just an hdmi output...had to buy a separate converter

I didn't need a wifi player since I already stream for my tv channels. This one has to be plugged into Ethernet if you want wifi capabilities. I only needed a basic Blu-ray player, so this does the job.

This is a very good Blu Ray player for the money. I needed something for my spare bedroom and this one was much better than I expected. Great value, great price.

We've had no problems with this Blu-ray player. It is small and plays quietly. We haven't used the streaming features so I can't speak to how that is.

This a very quiet unit and streams flawlessly. Easy to use controls and excellent playback.

Sometimes the video randomly goes out for a second then comes back. Sometimes it just keeps doing it every few seconds, 10, 20, 30 times... unacceptable. A reboot might fix it but it usually comes back. I easily setup the internet connection and Netflix worked fine but sometimes it asks again. This has happened about 5 times in two days... annoying. This player is slow, scrolling right / left Netflix titles is choppy and hurts my eyes... annoying. I don't think the firmware is ready for prime time so it's going back.

Great Value. The player is easy to use. Great for music CD too!

Saw this was advertised as a streaming player and assumed it had wifi. Nope.
